In the middle of the village Lefkοgia the road branches (coming from Plakias) right to Shinαria Beach. Then one continues on a dusty and in partially very narrow paved road for about 3 km to the Shinaria beach.
At the beach
Though there are rock slabs in the sea, at the west end the entry into the sea is wide and sandy.
The bay itself is about 200 m long and very wide, mixed sand beach with only a few pebbles and the water ….. turquoise, crystal clear, just heavenly.
Even the underwater world at the deep rock walls of the cove is said to be very rich; also a diving school operates at the beach.
