Approximately 3 km west of Paleochora and easy to reach on a well-paved road, lie the bays of Gramenos stretching down on both sides of a very narrow isthmus.
It is quiet here at Gramenos beach under the shade of Tamarisk trees, on the east side mainly one swims in the company of locals. On the headland itself is the campsite, which of course at its front door on the west side provides direct access to the long sandy beach.
There the beach has shallow waters ideal for children with clear sea water and provides, of course, taverns and beach umbrellas / deckchairs.

- Useful information: Heading west from Paleochora approx. 4 km and then following the first sign to “Gramenos Beach” to the left, passing a long sand/pebble beach, you will reach a big parking lot. Park here and walk a few meters across the isthmus to the big sandy beach of Gramenos.
