Approximately 3 km west of Paleochora and easy to reach on a well-paved road, lie the bays of Gramenos stretching down on both sides of a very narrow isthmus.
It is quiet here at Gramenos beach under the shade of Tamarisk trees, and on the east side mainly one swims in the company of locals. On the headland itself is the campsite, which of course at its front door on the west side provides direct access to the beach.
Both beaches are sandy / pebble beaches with clear sea water and provide, of course, taverns and beach umbrellas / deckchairs.
