25 lion heads invite you to refresh yourself
The jewel of the village, the Venetian fountain “Kefalovríssi” with its 25 lion heads, is located in the city center and is not to miss; around them the village square with cafes and tavernas under huge plane trees invite one to linger. Take some time to stroll quietly through the streets of Spíli and to drink water from the lions’ heads. The exact origin of this centuries-old water flood is still unknown, but according to government tests it is the purest spring water with a high iron content and a constant temperature of 13C.
